Meeting notes
Notes of Annual General Meeting meeting held on Wednesday 14 April 2004

More than 20 people came along to the AGM last Wednesday, several of whom put themselves forward for the Southwark Cyclists committee in the exciting, contested elections:

Coordinator: BARRY MASON

Treasurer: HUGH BOLTON

Secretary: ELEANOR PERCER

Newsletter Editor: SUE RICHARDS

Rides Coordinator: PETER CORKILL

Webmaster: KIT REYNOLDS

Sustrans liaison: MICHAEL WOLF

Planning officer: JAMES BARBER (& ALASTAIR HANTON)

Press officer: SARAH GREEN

Other AGM business:

Treasurer’s report:

healthy year, ending with £250 unrestricted funds in hand; full report available from BARRY/HUGH

Coordinator’s report:

2003-04 has been “a year of restructuring and consolidation” (management speak, Barry?!); some brilliant projects, especially Rockingham and Burgess Pk; also good, consistent rides programme; but disappointing amount of local work and fewer new faces… Gearing up for 2005…

Dates of future AGMs:

Will now be held in Octobers to give the committee good time to plan and run Bike Week and Summer campaigns etc; the next AGM will be Oct 2004 (ie this cttee is serving a special 6-month term)
