Bikestart! Local healthy rides for all.
Southwark Cyclists have created a series of 8 Southwark Healthy Rides
designed for anyone who wants to use their bike more to explore locally
and to get better cycling skills and experience.
Starting 3rd March, all these Saturday rides are free. There's no booking.
Just turn up with your bike. (Or rent one. Contact us direct for
information about hirers such as On Your Bike and London Recumbents).
We're using professional police-checked trainers from

to lead the rides and give cycling tips along the way.
They'll check all bikes from 10am onwards before the rides head off at 11am.
They'll get back to the start by 3pm and will stop for a snack lunch along
the way, and any other stops needed! The rides will be paced for all who
turn up and are designed to be interesting, friendly and fun. No-one will
get left behind.
We've chosen Southwark Park cafe, Peckham Pulse and Dulwich Park cafe as
the three different starting points so as to cover the whole borough.
Try as many rides as you can. We hope all will then want to try the many
other Southwark Cyclists rides we run all year round. The 8 rides are all
listed below.
Riders under 14 years of age must be with their parent or guardian.

using hard-won grants from them.
All rides meet on Saturday at 10am for Dr Bike inspection and adjustments
with an 11am ride start.
